Feelin 22... In July.

Well guys this year I'll be feelin' 22!! (I actually really hate that song.) And since my birthday is on the weekend of the Fourth of July (July 6) I figured, although early, why not get out on the open waters and enjoy the salt life that Charleston offers?

 

Great idea right? I really want to get a few of my friends together and rent a boat for a few hours and cruise around, wherever it is to cruise around. I know the prices will probably be jacked up around the holiday and I don't want to go broke. I just want to cruise around the Ashley or the bridges, enjoy some a lot of drinks.

 

If any of my local Charleston friends know of any good Marinas that are reasonably priced especially if I book ahead, PLEASE let me know! I live in the Summerville area, but I wouldn't mind traveling, but not to far.

 

Anybody else gearin' up for their birthday VERY early?

I'm an old hag...

OMG... I'm 20 years old today. This day, July 6th, 20 years ago my mama brought me into this hard, cold, and cruel world. Then again, what would she do without me... Not much. Can't believe it's another year on this earth. But an awfully bright side, I'm starting my own little personal fund to go to Vegas for the big 21 next year. I've been before, but I was like 17, there's nothing fun to do in Vegas when your 17 years old. When I go next year I plan to spend a week, eat at the Emeril restaurant, see cirque de solei, go to the thunder down under(don't judge me) party hard, and of course shop. I can't wait it's going to be so much fun.

Oh my!

Guess what guys? Today marks exactly one week until my 20th birthday. I'll no longer be a "teenager" and my childhood will only be a fond distant memory, I know a tad dramatic, but it's true. On July 6th it will mark 20 years of my existence. It seems like just yesterday I was having my 6th Barney themed birthday party at my aunts catering hall and dancing with my cousins in my cute new Gap outfit! Man I miss the good ole' days, no worries, no responsibility, no cares just being a kid. Now I have to worry about things. Money, time, work, college, and balance a social life. It's a little stressful and I DO NOT handle stress well, but it's something I can't avoid. I'll just take it with a grain of salt and continue to learn from my mistakes and grow up, now all I need is a boyfriend. LOL!

Its My Birthday!!

Happy Birthday to ME, Happy Birthday to ME! Happy Birthday dear MEEEEE! Happy Birthday to ME!

Today is my 19th birthday! Its not a serious one, but it'll be my last year in the "teens!" I'm just happy and appreciative to be able to see another year. Some people don't make it to 19.  For some reason, my birthday usually falls on a odd day, and this year is no different its a Wednesday! But I did look ahead on the calender too see that my 21st birthday in 2013 will be on a Saturday since next year is a leap year!

I'm going to wait until Saturday and just have a simple dinner with my sister, cousin, friends, and hopefully the guy I like if he's back from his vacation in time! :) **fingers crossed**

I'm gettin old... Who else has a birthday today or soon(any Cancer's out there)? I'd love to know your birthday plans.

p.s. I'm also going to a Reggae festival on Saturday here in Charleston at Wanamaker Park. I went to one a few years back and it should be tons of fun, music, and food(Jerk chicken on coco bread, with a chicken patty since I don't eat beef, and a coconut soda!) I CANNOT wait!
